MEET THE OWNER

Owner and operator Dameon has been hands-on his entire life. Growing up in Iowa, he learned hard work from a young age working on the farm and started working in the construction trade in high school remodeling entire hotels. He has a passion for learning new things and spends countless hours studying new skills and fine-tuning the ones he already has. 

The company name Fortitude Built encompasses everything Dameon has overcome in his lifetime. From being told he was the kid who would never be anything, to now living his lifelong dream of owning his own business as a builder and tradesman. 

Dameon has lived in Whidbey Island since 2016, he moved here because of his wife who was in the US Navy. He fell in love with the island and the PNW and has planted roots here.
